Hi guys,

I would like some information. I'm considering to buy a product from ClickBank. Normally I wouldn't be thinking about refunds right off the bat, but this is quite an expensive product ($3,000).

So my question is: If this turns out to be a scam (unlikely) or a product that I'm unhappy with (might happen) how hard is it to get the refund? ClickBank's own Refund Policy says:

ClickBank has every incentive to keep customers happy by providing quality products and service. To promote customer satisfaction, ClickBank reserves the right to reverse a sale, including but not limited to the following:
  • If the customer provides a valid reason for requesting a return within the time frame permitted in the applicable Vendor Return Policy;

This is quite vague. What is a "valid reason"? In my case I'm looking to buy what is effectively a manual. But for the price the price of $3,000 I want it to be really thorough. If it's a bunch of vague statements, I'll be wanting my money back. If I say "I expected this manual to explain how to do X Y and Z but it only explains X", is that a valid reason?

Or you can choose a better route and tell the vendor you are a prospective affiliate who would like a review. As a vendor myself I'd rather give out a free review than have people buy and refund as it negatively affects our accounts.
