Hey everyone. Just a simple question. Could I offer a refund percentage to people that buy from my affiliate link if it's not my own product?

For example let's say that in order to get people to buy my product I offer to give back half of the commission I make because of the referral. Is this possible or would I have to be the actual owner of the product?

    Write from Click bank.

Our official return policy for all ClickBank products is as follows:
ClickBank will, at its discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any defective product within 60 days from the date of purchase. For recurring billing products, returns for more than one payment may be provided if requested within the standard 60 day return period. After 60 days all sales are final.

There's no way you could do that directly from within the clickbank process itself. What you could do is offer a rebate through your own site where you would give anyone that made a purchase through your link a rebate yourself through paypal. The problem of course is that unless you waited more than 60 days to give the rebate, then the customer could still take your rebate and then go get a refund from cb. You'd be pretty much screwed then, out the money you rebated and out the money cb takes back when they do the refund.

If you really want to give an incentive for people to purchase through your hoplink, then a better way would be to give them a secondary digital item. Find a good PLR product that could benefit the same people that are buying the product, and offer that plr product as a bonus to people purchasing through your hoplink. That way if they later get a refund from cb, you wont be out anything more than just having given them the bonus ebook for free.
