Um, should I get SSL for my own (I am the vendor) pitchpage?
Is there no one else?
SSL is usually only used to protect login pages, account pages, and other pages that typically need extra protection. According to Clickbank's security page, they use SSL to encrypt sensitive data on pages such as the ones I previously mentioned (you can also that they use SSL on every order form page).
With this in mind, I wouldn't purchase my own SSL for a pitch page.
I don't see any reason why you would bother with a private SSL. Payment pages and other pages requiring protection would be encrypted by clickbank's own SSL.
If you have money to waste then by all means use SSL.
