If people won't mark it as spam CB has no reson to ban you.
Of course you can! Having 2500 emails can bring you some good $$$ if it is targeted enough to a specific clickbank product. When I was in the dating niche I made bank with tao of badass

i just wondered if CB accepts the fact that i am emailing CB product links to people that i don't know with the email list. If that's considered a legit marketing strategie, rather than spam, that will work for me

You can promote CB products via email marketing. If you obtained the emails via blackhat methods then the "legit" part might not be so legit, but there is no risk you face with CB... and the money it brings in is legit.

CB will not have a problem with it. Are you setting up a email sequence? If not try doing a broadcast and see how many open rates and marked as spam.

You say that you got this list from your website that you sold, as in these were your buyers?
If this case then you do 'know them' and for sure you can email them. I noticed on one post you said 'people i don't know' ... but if they chose to opt in to your website then you are good to go!

I have spammed 20,000 people with clickbank products in one sitting. Non-targeted. 2 sales (WOOHOOO! what a conversion! ...).
Anyway, my account is still fine and those 20k made me a whopping $60.
