Havent promoted a cb product with special offer when u try n close page before..

say a product is $30, u try n close n it offers for $20 n they buy.. if your an affiliate for that product, do u get the commish as if they payed full price or the discount price? I say this as i thought u might till get full commish as theat marketer then has another PROVEN BUYER on their list to market too in future and may cover for the lost $'s from the initial sale?

You are paid for the commission of the initial sale. If the product closes at $20, then you are paid whatever the commission percentage was.

Scenerio:Product sells for $30 and it's affiliates are paid 50% commission; with a discounted price $20 (if the potential buyer closes the webpage).
If the potential buyer buys the product at the discounted price, you are still paid 50% commission from whatever the buyer pays for said product.
You would be paid $10, instead of the full comission of $15.

just as he said ^
that is why on product details in clickbank marketplace there are 2 different type of prices..
intial $
and avg $

Thanks for clearing that up guys, yeh i know but that stat can change due to refunds also so wasnt sure :)

i was also wondering about this. but ya, as others have said...it would only make sense.
