ClickBank : My Affiliate Odyssey

Hi everyone !
I've been reading the forum for few month now and I've learn a lot of things. I've been making websites (with CPC ads) for 3 years, it worked fine, I'm making some good money but I've always wanted to try CPA.
So ... Today is the day ! I decided to start in this business where I've everything to learn. So right now, here is my plan :

Twitter : I'll promote Clickbank product replying to people talking about the niche I'm aiming leading them to buy the product.
Forums : I'll do the same thing that I do with twitter but with PM's

The niche I'm aiming for the moment is "Weight Loss"

And of course, I'll share with you what happens in this "Odyssey" but don't forget, I'm a total noob :p

Advice are welcome ^^

PS : Excuse my actual/futur english mistakes, I'm not English (don't hesitate to correct my mistakes, I won't be offended ;) )

So you're going to persuade them individually to buy the products? How's that different from those gentlemen who go from door to door trying to sell crappy products? Sure it's a good method if you're professional and convincing enough, but it's got to be tiring. And if you're not talking to someone, you don't make a sale. It's a good way to start off though.
 
Yes I'm gonna start like that. I don't want to sell thousands of units per day right now. I just wan't to see how it works and what converts great :)
 
automation will be the key to your success, look at items for sale section to automate most of the work.
 
erikCreed : yeah I'm already working on automation. But I'm developping it myself. I don't want to pay for a program I can make myself :/
astonmartin : oh I know that, don't worry, I won't beg for miraculous method ;)

@OP that sounds like a good start. But don't forget article marketing.

If you want to use the door to door sales example snoozebot gave then;
  • twitter, facebook, and similar fan or follow type sites is like door to door sales.
  • forum profiles is like dropping in on businesses, auditoriums, and other group gatherings.
  • article marketing is like placing fliers up at community bulletin boards, grocery store windows, etc.
Be sure to write a few articles, (or have them written since your not confident in your english) and submit them to article directories. After the articles are accepted then get them backlinked from social bookmarking sites, and anywhere else you can promote them.

Twitter, forums, etc. are where you go to find your prospects. Article marketing is how you get prospects to start finding you.

Be sure to browse through the clickbank forum to find lots of other ideas to get traffic for your offers.

As far as automation is concerned, don't worry about it until you know what it is you're going to be automating. Learn it first and then automate it. You'll have a better understanding of what your doing.

So ... I changed the product I'm promoting, twitter is probably not the best place to promote Diet Programs ^^
Anyway I've been experimenting stuff and I'm finally promoting another product. I think this one would sell better :)
Moreover, I just bought TweetAttacks which is an AWESOME software and it allows me to do great stuff :p
I'll keep you in touch if I make some sales ;)
 
While trying to sell products, I found an other way to make money and I will try that right now, so I stopped promoting products but I'm not quitting, I'll come back later. This is why internet is awesome, because there always is something to discover !

Newbies : NEVER QUIT ! KEEP TRYING !
 
One thing that i'm still trying to learn myself is that once you come up with a method of selling that you wanna try then once you have started you must see it through. There is always someone with what sounds like a better method but if you keep changing your method you will never complete anything. Try something and focus on it to the end.

Determination + Action = Success
 
I'm back in the affiliate business. I've been (and I'm currently) making 40+ $ a day on autopilot with the method I discovered (cf my last post).
And it's on autopilot so I now have time to promote clickbank articles. I'm gonna post articles to article directories to try to get prospects.
Moreover I was thinking about ranking up my articles using scrapebox ... what do you think about that ?

And do you mind sharing that secret method? :P
I'm cuirous... as might others be.

Also, do you make anything with tweetattacks? Has it helped in any way?

I may write an ebook later because this method is really SO SIMPLE ! And, yes, it's using tweetattacks ;)
 
Here is what I've done today :

I selected a product.
Submitted an article to eza and articlebase.
Created a blog (blogger) for this product, reditted and digged it.
Bought Facebook Ads which are going to be running today and tomorrow (0,20e/Click but they're advising me 0,57, do you think I should follow their advice ?)

Here is what I'm gonna do before I get to sleep (it's 23:54 in France ^^):
Promote the product on twitter.

I hope I will get a sale because this is a really hot topic right now :)
