So i'm now focussing on Clicbank.
I want to use Google alerts to drive traffic to a product. But when I get a google alert about a niche or product, how do I actually drive traffic to it?
Do I have to post my Clickbank link to that blog, website, etc..??

Yes, exactly. Google alert will only tell you there is something new has been published regarding your niche/name. You'll have to do the rest by going there and putting your link.

if it's a blog or forum i think you should post a comment or something in order to help people and market your product

Yup, it 'alerts' you when your product is mentioned.. So when that is happened you need to react and post your link, site, whatever it is.

Promote your product in some kinda unique way. Drive traffic into it. Try using facebook to drive traffic.
