I just have a question about being a merchant on clickbank because
I am soon to release a product.

O.k now, as an affiliate you get clickbank checks after 60 days of making
sales right. I understand that much. (whats there to understand really?)

What I hear is that as a merchant, you get paid weekly.
And they simply hold a certain percentage of your total earnings.

My question is, how do they pay merchants? Can they pay you with
paypal if you want, or even direct deposit?
I guess like mostly everyone else, I want as close to instant gratification
(getting paid) that I can get.

I know someone here must have the answer....

Cheers.

You should both go to Clickbank and read about the payment schedule because you are both wrong.

At OP: You should have titled your post differently because everyone assumes you have important news.

You can choose for weekly or bi-weekly payments, as well as set a threshold for the minimum payment.
You can choose either check or direct deposit.

Eh, you don't have the option for Direct Deposit unless you fulfill another criteria.

That criteria is: getting 3 cheques within a 3-month period.
Code:
To be eligible for direct deposit, a ClickBank user must have first received three paper checks within any 90-day period.

So I recommend you set a low payment threshold to fulfill that easily :D

And if you're new to clickbank, all users will need to fulfill their first criteria if they want to receive their first cheque/check.

The criteria is: getting at least 5 sales with 5 different credit card numbers and 2 different credit card types (Visa and Mastercard).

And yes, they do hold a certain percentage. It is usually 10%. But if your refund rates are high, they have the rights to increase it.

Whether you're an affiliate or vendor, you will still be treated the same way.

Thanks everyone!

That really clears it up for me!

Cheers.

Oh yeah, I always forget to talk about that part. That is the biggest source of confusion for new CB peeps. Just be patient...they WILL pay once you finally meet the (strange) criteria.

You don't have to get paper checks in order to qualify for direct deposit. In fact, I never once got a paper check form them. When I started making sales, I just asked them to put me on direct deposit, and they did, no problems.

I am a clickbank merchant with a couple of products in there.

You can set your account to receive checks or direct deposits, weekly or bi-weekly.
They don't pay via paypal.
