We're looking at expanding our affiliate recruitment, and someone recommended ClickBank.
Has anyone experienced CB from the merchant's perspective?
How did you find the quality of sign-ups?
Pricing? Support etc?
Yes - I have done CB merchant sales and not exactly sure what you are asking but like anything, the product is what's important to the buyer. I did a "gambling" type of product on CB years ago, and made about 3K a month, only after CB affiliates started to pick it up - and since it was gambling, which is really random for winning, it became harder and bad reviews sprung up on the internet, and basically the product was to Help the odds, not make one a billionaire in 5 seconds, which , in that niche , people expect for some reason.
Anyway, picking a niche, that is needed, and "evergreen" is the way to go, Gambling help is "thought to be needed" but after a while it dies out because of expectations, so its not evergreen. I rode that product for like 7 months till it died down to 1 sale a week ....
So do research, find a info product that people are looking for, be different, think outside the box, make the product and website sales page and order page and see if it sticks. (You have SaaS already, so go for it - nothing to loose)
For NEWBS looking to sell on CB and can't think of a niche - the perfect sites to review for a niche are Google Trends and Twitter - Twitter for the actual info you want to put into your info product - there are also tons of scraping programs, that pull in article after article on the niche then get a good Re-Writer program and make your product.
For Advertising the Niche: I use software now, but one of the best ways for traffic is domain forwarding from a Youtube video where the link in that video (dealing with your niche of course) is no longer active, its expired.. So you find videos with over 50K views or more, with a link that is expired and you purchase that URL and forward it to your website or affiliate site. The outcome is now your forwarded website is on that domain in the youtube video - also check wikipedia for expired domains in your niche and buy those and forward those as well.. And if you want to be super careful, do a search on google using quotations (Exact keyword search) for the website you want to purchase to see how many "other areas' besides youtube the url is found on, just in case the original youtube video creator takes down that video.
