Clickbank journey to $700/month

A week ago, my brother told me the following:

"You're wasting your time with your website. It'd be a miracle if you were to ever pull $300/month."

To which I replied: "challenge accepted !"

In fact, I want to make it to $700 per month.

I've been dipping my toe in meathead's "Easy $100 a day, perfect for noobs" method for the last 6 months. For the unaware, the idea is to send visitors to your blog, on which you're recommending clickbank products. And you generate that traffic through manual commenting (forums, blogs, news...)

In the thread mentioned above, people have been making $2000 - 10 000/month with this dumb method. So my target isn't exactly "pie in the sky" stuff. But it's still very challenging for a noob like myself.

Here's what my traffic looks like since december.



As you can see, the spikes have been very sporadic. $54 have been made so far, because I've been so inconsistent with my commenting.

Time to get real.

The obstacles I will face on my journey will be the following:

1. Commenting is TEDIOUS. My god is it tedious. Having to sign up to each site to post a comment is probably the most tedious part.

2. Facebook is a b*tch. They ban my accounts when I use the FB plugin on news sites. Despite spinning my comments. I'll need to dig into this, probably will need proxies and multiple accounts.

3. Self-doubt. IRL, you never meet these people making a killing online. And the internet is full of bullshit, so I can't be confident that making substantial money online is doable, until I accomplish it myself.

Some members on here manage to post at a rate of 150 comments/hour. I don't know how it is humanly possible... but practice makes perfect, so I'm gonna try to be consistent.

Do you plan to do it in french ,or in english,cause I realized that It would be difficult to do it in French cause there is not a lot of websites you can comment in french unlike english,the english web is much bigger

What clickbank-service / affliate program do you use to earn cash from your site?

Keep at it. It seems like it could work, but will take some time. It will all be cumulative though, you know? Eventually all of our hard work pays off. Well, sort of. I recently spent about 14 hours on an ADHD binge working hard on learning everything there is to know about Rasputin. That one did not pay off.

I'm doing it in English, for the reasons you mentionned.

In French, there are less websites to comment on... however, the competition is also lower. So it might be worth the effort. Only testing can tell.

I won't tell you what my exact niches or products are. Some folks on BHW copy others' ideas. And I don't want to increase my competition!

It doesn't really matter though, the process is exactly the same, regardless of the niche/product.

It takes a lot of time to do that, it doesn't worth it. You should move on to other project.

Here I'll knock down your obstacles for you
1. Working outdoors in the baking sun is much more tedious than signing up for websites.
2. Keep churning and tweaking. Ask very specific questions here on bhw that show you've been making an honest attempt.
3. The internet does more than a trillion dollars a year in commerce. It will only get higher each day. You did yourself a favor by starting now.
4. (Mainly) Compare yourself against yesterday's performance instead of someone else's. (Some competition is very good)
