Clickbank + FB ads - short journey

putting up this journey just for fun

but i saw a cool health VSL on clickbank that i think i can advertise well on facebook ads

this particular offer/niche does not seem saturated at all so i think i can get LOW cpms and low cost per clicks

i'll probly end this journey if i launch and day 1 i can't get low costs or any sales

but yeah all i'm going to use to make this is 1) wordpress landing page 2) facebook ads

not gonna use click funnels or an affiliate tracker or any of that stuff. don't wanna waste the money

gonna keep it simple. i already have a domain with wordpress on it. gonna add a new page and make a simple LP. probably like a headline, image, and button that leads to the offer lol. super super simple

facebook ad with a long form ad copy. will research a little bit on forums/discussion boards and highlight the common problems experienced by the audience in the ad copy

ad creative i'm gonna get free images/videos from pixabay/unsplash/pexels and splice them together, maybe put some effects. whatever i think will work

headline will be simple, straight up, direct

plan to have 6 creatives - 3 images, 3 videos. 1 campaign, 1 adset. 10-20 interests in the adset. scale up by bumping up the budget

i'm just keeping things simple here. i'm gonna let the ad copy do the talking, the headline to draw them in, the landing page acts as a bridge to get them to the VSL. not gonna stress out about particular details or running dynamic creatives with like multiple headlines/ad copies

will have the ads created and scheduled for tomorrow, let's see if i can put something together to speak to the audience. if you can talk to the people through the ad and relate with them, then that'll draw them in, and MAYBE they will buy

update:

put together some ads for a weight loss product

was gonna do a different product initially but i changed my mind. i like this weight loss product. the video sales letter seems very HQ. also i like the theme of the product

i put together some images and videos on canva and whipped up 6 creatives. ads are approved and running now, hasn't spent anything yet

wrote a pretty compelling ad copy, and a nice headline

directing people to my LP and then the video offer

let's GO. time to hook some people and make them feel self conscious about their weight so they buy the product and i get commission $$$!!!

CPMs are way too high so I turned off ads early. Like $90 cpms

weight loss is a no no for the small player

You can get both of those for free for a 2-week period to run your test. Same with hosting with something like DO or Vultr.

gonna take me a lot longer than 2 weeks lol

i've been on clickbank + fb ads for a while now. i'm not super focused on it now and mainly do it on the side, because i have 2 day jobs i work to sustain my living. so internet marketing is not a priority for me

i would like to get it to work, which is why i continue dedicating some time to it

i've tested a lot of health offers with facebook ads. like 8-10 different offers. made some money with some of them but not enough to be profitable long term. i've pretty much tested all of the top health offers on the 1st page of clickbank lol

i'm pivoting though

trying some diff offers, coming up with some unique ad copy, etc. aff marketing is actually a really simple business which is why i wanna get into it. you don't have to fulfill orders or deal with customers or any of that

all you literally do is run paid ads, try to get cheap and relevant traffic, send it to your landing page which is just a bridge page to the video offer. then you just chill and scale up the ads as high as you can go lol

Sorry but you are wrong here.
Aff marketing is very hard.
The old fishes who started in early 2000s, they bank hard now .

But many people try it and they don't succeed with it.
It's so hard to get a good traffic.
And FB constantly bans accounts.

Also for FB or any ad network one must have lots of money to test different adsets. Unless you are professional or experienced as maker and can optimize it to the moon. So it's profitable in the second day.

It's a struggle.
If it was so easy like you said then everybody would do that.

But it's not the case here.

But in general yes Aff marketing is easier than dropshipping, just find the traffic for an offer and try to sell it

it's the most simplest business model

all you do is drive relevant traffic to a video page

if you can pay for the traffic as cheap as possible so you break a profit, then you have a business

dropshipping is creating a store, fulfilling orders, answering customers, branding, etc

tell's me that you most likely don't know what are you doing.

You need to use some kind of tracking, there are free options, otherwise you can't do any testing
and can't see what works and what doesn't.

i won't be doing any testing

my plan is to put together 3 vids/images that i think will work, 1 ad copy, and 1 headline

then will make 1 adset with a bunch of relevant interests and let it run

Tracking would be needed indeed. But that's the easiest part to setup if we are talking about rudimentary tracking. Bit.ly for instance added UTM parameters and even that can be used for very basic tracking for free of course.

facebook ads is bad these

Good luck and congratulatjons ,you do what most people dont .For some people it takes a lot of time to start with a free method and they lose a lot of time reading all day ,searching for the best and easy method .
