Clickbank --> ****** fail.

So I tried advertising a cb ad on ****** and here are the results (so far):

$8 = 10,000 views.
Hopcount = 7,400
Order form impression = 6
Sales = 0

=( The ad was for a paleo recipe book which Google insights tells me is hot right now.

Just because a product is "hot" according to Google insights, doesn't mean it'll sell to anyone. Using ****** to advertise a recipe book is terribly untargeted. The type of people clicking ****** links are more interested in video games and downloads, for example.

i think it's also important to note that ****** traffic is shit. I'd try promoting your product in another manner.

Adfly visitors are hard to convert in the first place and if it requires the user spending money (purchasing a cb product) then it'll be even harder. Overall, as stated above, Adfly visits are interested in downloading music or movies and playing video games.
