does backlinks really works to get sales for review site?

so if my review site ranked 1 for good keyword , can i get a lot of sales?

Yes you can but honestly I think it's better to target long tail keywords related to the product. There is so much competition for the review terms and because of all the reviews that come up, it's hard for people to figure out who to trust.

When you target long tail keywords, you can give enough info so the person won't need to look up reviews. And the more authoritative and non-spammy your blog looks, the more likely visitors will trust your content. You can subtly include an affiliate link to the product you're promoting in your articles.

I would recommend you to target "How to" category of keywords. Because people searching with "How to" phrase converts well.

Yes Backlinks/SEO will work, if you rank no.1 on google and other search engines you will get sales as long as your website looks good and the ads are placed correctly. I also recommend that you target some long tail keywords to help you out.
