Clickbank - Coupons WHY?

Hey everyone.

Just want to find out a little more about products on clickbank that have the coupon box on the order page.

I've promoted a product on clickbank with the coupon box before with some good success but I still worry about losing sales.

Can someone clear this up for me.

If someone clicks my link, then goes to the order page and notices the coupon box, then searches google for a coupon code but then goes to the order page via another affiliate do they get the sale or do I?

I have grown to hate the coupon box and really don't see why vendors are using it, especially when most WON'T give out a coupon to give visitors.

The only problem is, the product that is working for me has the coupon box. I'm testing out others but with very little success.

Any way of getting around it maybe?

Well, considering that they've went up to the order page, I'm sure they will open a new tab, search for the code then paste to your order page...

But seriously, why don't you provide a coupon code by yourself and eliminate this doubt? Or you can't get one?

Because not all vendors give you coupon codes which is why I think it's stupid if they offer it in the first place.
I have been doing it with the product I have had some success with but still, not all clicks and not every one will open a new tab. Also, some affiliates will just say click here to get your coupon dropping their cookie.
