Clickbank cookie question

Say I get a click to abcd.com/?hop=***** etc etc. When they land on this page, does it drop a cookie with my affil info? The reason I ask is because, if they were to do quick google search than go back to just abcd.com and order, will the cookie still give me credit?

Hope this makes sense, thanks.

As far as I'm aware, your cookie will stay there for X amount of days (30 or 60 or so), however a competitor's hoplink will override the cookie. In other words: last affiliate always gets credited.

Btw, you can test stuff like this out yourself. Just go to your own hoplink and you should see your name at the bottom of the order form. Then try someone else's (or plain URL) and see if you'd get credited.

Above is correct. With clickbank, the last (most recent) referring affiliate gets credited with the sale.
