I am promoting a clickbank product and so far I've got 30 order form impressions and just 1 sale. Is it that people click to the order form and then realize the price is too high or is clickbank just shaving?

I was just about to post the same thing. My first week of IM and I have these stats - 51 order form impressions - and 10 sales..... is it shaving or just normal?

That seems very normal but it depends on many factors. How targetted your visitors are, the merchants landing page, price, etc.

there's 4 steps:
hop -> order form impression -> order form submit -> sale

an order form impression without an order form submit means they were just checking the price and decided not to buy it.

an order form submit without a sale means their payment info got rejected, or they tried to submit bogus info to get the product for free.

typical order for impression to order form submit ratio is 6:1

typical order form submit to sale ratio is 3:2

It could be many many things...not necessarilly clickbank shaving.

1. Its on someones tabs on firefox. Every time they open firefox, it will open that page.

2. People checking the price

3. People checking if its monthly re-bill etc
