Wondering if people can share their overall conversion rates. I send traffic to about 6 different offers, all different niches. I send my traffic with articles marketing and blogs, with search engine traffic.

In the past 14 days here are my basic stats:

Hops: 1440
Sales: 6
Profit: $159.94

I used to do much better than this. Economic situation around the world have to do with this? Is anyone doing a lot better conversion wise? Maybe I'm just in a terrible drought. I was thinking if I could get 500 hops a day I'd be golden, but now I'm not so sure. Any feedback is appreciated. I know I didn't provide much info, just trying to see if others are having similar problems with bum marketing.

I never had any success with Click Bank as a publisher but I bet advertisers make a killing.

Oh my. Let me tell you about my experience with clickbank.

This is mainly from Wp-robot over 2 years. But Well over 40k clicks 1 sale for 57$ How's that for a great conversion rate lol.

Needless to say I've stopped promoting them.

80 hops a sale, I target '<product name> review'

Don't get that many hops, but they convert cause they're already interested in the product.

It really depends on your promotion.

If you're gonna just recommend products like for example, giving tips for acne then recommending acne products... then the chances of conversion is actually quite low as they are skeptical at first.
If your promotion of clickbank products is by writing review pages, then the conversion should be higher.

I'm in between both of them and have been doing well. Clickbank suddenly became my main income stream... lol

Ive heard that January is a bad month for conversions and mine have taken a hit this month.
Whats been killing me has been the order form submit to sale ratio for the last couple of months.
Last 14 day stats- 697 hops - 13 order form submits - 5 sales
That order form submit to sale ratio has been screwing me for the last 2 or 3 months and is the reason i will be trying to put CB behind me this year.
I understand that sometimes payments do not go through but the average used to be about 1 in 5 did not go through. Now it seems that only about 1 in 3 DO go through and I am sick of that shit.

I was like u once (and still am kinda). But it can vary so much depending on the niche, the offer and the pre-selling. I have had worse conversions on FREE offers, CPA (just free signup).

I have seen people on top ranks for SUUUUPER competitive keywords getting 10-20K uniques make peanuts, cause they don't know how to sell or monetize. I mean like under $300-400 pm.

lol...that's really unbelievable. (I would stop after 400).

I do clickbank reviews and I get around $1.02 per hop. Sometimes even more.

The key is targetting product NAMES, that way you only get buyer traffic that has read a lot about the product but now wants a review. Also throwing in some bonuses can only increase your conversions :)

Yeah targeting names is a good idea to increase conversions.

Yeah. It seems that after the christmas and after-christmas weekend specials, people don't want to buy anymore, or at least for time being usually until valentine's day.

Don't quote me on that though.

My amazon review sites to a major hit this month and barely made any sales. So did my CB products.

Also, OP remember it's about how well-targeted your landing page/review site is, how you promote it, and what the actual products are. I'm selling a crappy CB product on a review site that gets 1 unique a day and I make sales at least once a month. It's because the keywords are super targeted and that theres no popularity or necessity for my product.

Dayum!

links spidered by bots also counts as hop so you better don't trust so much on hops

I'm pretty good targeted, but I can do better with a little bit more optimising the landing pages. When you have optimised something that much, you can get just with a few sentences, or new pictures, etc. some huge changes in the conversion rate.

Now it's 33 Hops for every order, for Clickbank it's pretty good, but I need to get some more traffic from different sources like Twitter traffic, SEO, Facebook groups, etc.

Currently it is mostly YouTube traffic, and some bidding at targeted AdWords keywords.

The 3 days of the New Year I was doing great, I made $257.23, I thought wow this going great, then it just stopped, now I am getting many people clicked over to my offers they even click thru to the order form but no one is pulling the trigger. Strange??

To be fair, January does always traditionally suck for me. I'm projecting only about 40% of my 2010 monthly average in January.

A lot of issues with crap bank. Their tracking sucks, to easy for people to change the affiliate links to another affiliate link, payments do not seem to go through sometimes, to easy to get refunds, and the list goes on and on.

Take a look at what your promoting and find another offer. Ex - Stop promoting weight loss ebooks and send that traffic to a weight loss cpa offer (still plenty out there) or a product like p90x or insanity. Making simple changes like this will put money in the bank!!

What about paydotcom? It's hard to find a cpa network with adult stuff...penis enhancement and premature ejaculation mainly. I don't mind sharing my niche it's saturated as hell. But I am getting plenty of clicks just converting at about 0.25% Paydotcom has a few products I can use, I might try it. Does anyone know any other place with guides on those two niches? Not looking to sell pills, most of my content is against pills. Do CPA networks have products like that? Or getting back with ex products? I'm in quite a few networks and I have looked, but can't find anything similar to what I'm promoting.

Thanks!
