1. Is there a way to figure out the conversion rate of a clickbank product. Or do i have to test it and drive traffic to the site?

2. In some product descriptions i can see: 3% conversion or something like that. Are those numbers real?

You can only figure out your own conversion rate. It all depends on how well they were pre-selled or referred to the product.

I never trust the descriptions of products. They might be averages but they also might be made up numbers, you can't tell.

Your best bet is to just look at the sales page and decide for yourself if it will convert or not.

Some products have very bad conversion rate, so be careful when you are choosing product!

Conversion rate massively depends on how well it is presold. I have some affiliates with <1% conversion, and some with >5%. Some people are quick to drop a product for bad conversions, when a lot of the time it is there own poor pre-sell which is causing the crap numbers. So yeah, you'll have to work out your own, and tweak and test.

There is actually a way to link directly to the Clickbank order page skipping the vendors buy page. I saw a youtube video on it recently but you'll have to search. If their buy page is shit, its a good thing to do

so there's no way to determine precise conversion rates?
