I am about to launch a new product using Clickbank and have a few questions whilst I wait for approval.

1. Im not bothered if my affiliates use BH techniques to get me visitors but do CB kick people out for promoting products on places such as YouTube, Myspace or CL or if use promote using other BH methods eg torrents.

2. If I have an affiliates area will I get shit from CB if I list Black Hat techniques for my affiliates to use ?

3. Can anyone point me to a CB product which offers really good affiliate support ?

Thanks in advance.
David

Use Paydotcom, they don't really care what you do. I use them and had never had any problems with issues you are suggesting.

Clickbank has to many rules etc etc. I have had nothing but problems with them when I promoted my product with them.

yea CB is sucky. They will punish the affiliate that's using BH stuff. So make sure you make yourself another account if you wanna promote it BH way and do it like an affiliate in case they suspend your account they don't suspend your main account where the product is.

I thought CB wasn't that bothered about stuff like that. Have you had a bad experience with them?

yea i heard they're pretty tough what other programs out there can you use for a product? Clickbank has to offer the most exposure out of all of them tho haha it's so popular

im promoting clickbank product (movie download site) using youtube since last december & now total commsion I got around $4500++ but nothing happen to my account yet..

Clickbank are obviously cleaning up their house, what with getting rid of P2P products. I read in an interview that they even talk to the FTC regularly.

So I would avoid Clickbank if you are going to tell your affiliates to do black hat.

Just like any other affiliate network, CB does not support BH techniques. However, that doesn't mean that you cannot use them.

But I would not recommend telling your affiliates to use BH techniques. The main reason is if the affiliates get caught, then CB will punish them by either banning them, taking the commissions, or both.

If this happens your affiliates may blame you since you told them they could use BH techniques which might get you into more trouble than it's worth.

Also, I don't think that CB would like you telling your affiliates to use methods they are against.

If you are going to do this, I would have your affiliates opt-in and then you can send them the BH methods via email.

Does Paydotcom have another payment choice OTHER than PayPal? Last thing I need is for the bastards at PP to shut me down because of a large influx of cash..

How is using Youtube a blackhat technique for a clickbank product? (unless you mean artificially driving up the views) I've written my own ebook and I have a nice youtube video that I made showing the benefits of my book all on my sales page.

grey areas are difficult to define and CB may just want to ensure all affiliates get a fair chance. Have no issues with them having my cb listed product promoted on various social networking sites so long as it is done onboard/whitehat.

Always good to have the same product marketed differently using different payment gateway. I use CB simply for its build-in affiliate program and immediate exposure.

Blackhat, if used discreetly and smartly, should not encounter any problems and definitely a 'no' to encourage your affiliate to using such.

Good luck and best wishes!

Paydotcom really doesn't care about what you do. Whatever BH you're doing you'll be fine with them.

Heck, some vendors "forgot" to pay me for my sales and they're still listed. So you can basically get away with almost with Paydotcom.
