Hi everybody, was hoping to get some advice from those of you who understand and focus on Clickbank marketing, especially running CB offers via paid traffic.

I just read mancar487 guide to making money with ClickBank and wanted to get some advice before picking a niche / setting up a blog.

1. When choosing a domain name for the blogsite, does the name actually matter?
2. Is it advisable to go to the marketplace and have somebody create a professional WP site related to the microniche? I am sure I can get something build that looks professional but wont break the bank either, however, I feel like this could be questionable, especially if I am not sure how well the product will convert.
3. For the blog articles that link to the affiliate offer, he suggests having 10-15 high quality blog posts that link to the affiliate offer, how far apart should these posts be (i.e. 2 days apart, 1 week apart, etc)? Does it matter or is the primary concern focusing on quality content?
3. Once I have my blog up and running with the articles posted, is it okay to just focus on paid traffic via google ads or bing ads? I know he mentions in the guide to have traffic from YT videos, FB groups, Pinterest, etc but I am not sure if those are for just for those that
don't have the capital to run paid ads. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

For paid traffic on an affiliate funnel the domain really doesn't matter. Get something they'll trust like a .com otherwise it doesn't matter.

Some of my highest converting sites look like something a toddler threw up. Your copy is going to matter far more than your site design, especially for paid when most of your traffic isn't going to give a crap about anything they didn't land on.

I'd throw something together yourself. Pay money for it later on if the campaign has legs.

It doesn't matter unless your niche is time-sensitive.

There's no 'right' or 'wrong' here. Any one of those traffic sources is enough for a 7 figure business and honestly you're best to focus on one or two rather than going to wide. Take it from the guy who always gets bored and goes too wide.

I'm assuming you're aware but I'll mention just in case. This is not going to be an easy licence to print money. Unless you're incredibly lucky you're going to run into stiff competition who have been doing this longer. Most people I know who successfully do paid lost a lot of money before getting into the green.

Figured that would be the way to go.

I mean, would it be better to just bring them to like a landing page email funnel, something like clickfunnels if I am just doing paid traffic instead of going to a blog article?

I feel like this could be a huge waste of time. By the time a post all the articles it could be a few weeks meanwhile I am not even sure if Ive got a sucssful product I can promote. Seems like alot of time goes into that before you even actually start truly testing the campaign. I am still a little confused with this part. Going back to my question above, could it just be better to have a landing page as a funnel? Any suggestions?

I was going to strictly focus on paid traffic. Didnt really think there were people who actually made 7 figures with CB. Thought that was just all YouTube hype lol.

I fully intend to lose money here on the campaign, my goal right now is to just start a successful campaign since jumping around and not taking actiion is prob a bad road to go down.

1. Some niches might convert better with a blog post but if you go into most competitive markets you'll most likely see landing pages. Unless you have a good reason for using a blog then a landing page is going to convert better. Maybe an advertorial style depending on where you're going for traffic but testing is the only real way to find out.

2. I can't tell you what's the right way to do it, just that I personally don't put a lot of time into the design of a new project. I throw something shit looking together (to the dismay of my graphic design girlfriend) and then I'll come back to it if it goes well.

Can't give you a suggestion as I don't know your niche and the only way you're going to find out is by starting to run traffic.

3. I meant a 7 figure income from the traffic source itself. Whether you're doing search PPC, Facebook display, native or whatever else any of these individually is enough to make a 7 figure business and they're disciplines in themselves. Don't try to spread yourself too thin.

4. Vast likelihood is you won't get a successful campaign for a long time if you're just getting started. Not saying this to put you off, just be prepared for a long and expensive road ahead.
