ClickBank 2020

I dont directly link to offers in the email i have a sales funnel on my own site and i have no problem with that system.

You mean you send an email to your list to visit a post on your site and you have affiliate links in that post this is correct?

I am being asked slightly different questions that overlap.

I have two separate email systems, one for sign up and one for newsletters.

Signup campaign = get response autoresponder
-no direct linking to affiliate offers only my front end funnel.

I then copy those optins to my newsletter funnel...

Newsletter = my own server, so i can send what i want.

That's basically collecting emails from other page and sending email campaign later on.

Almost, i send them through a front end funnel on my site that i make money from, the aim is to get the purchase of opt in traffic self funding.

Then you are correct the back end newsletter is where all the profit really is.

I think I would be safer signing up with getresponse due to them being ok with affiliate marketting. Sendinblue looks good but I dont want to pay for ppc only to find my email provider stops working. Getresponse has some good features but inboxing affects the conversion rate so much.

To build an optimised front end funnel and make money with email affiliate marketing you need thousands of clicks/optins.

Can i ask:

What your budget is and expected cost per signup?
What ppc system are you thinking of using?

I also do clickbank in one of my blogs, based around fitness & health.

Clickbank is worth it, but a lot of people don't to it right or give up, when they have just started. There are literally thousands of videos in youtube that will "teach you" how to do it, even though these gurus haven't made a sale themselves, but that's another story.

Micro niche is good, because if you develop it right, you will start see results quicker, you have to be very consistent, when you choosing the traffic source and stick to it, because you will hardly see results if you change things frequently.

Another important thing is what keywords, you will use. If you want to use [product] review, because they convert the best, but also it will take your blog/website a little bit of time to start ranking for them. Long tail keywords with less search volume will be better in the beginning to start with, until you get some backlinks, authority etc.

About collecting the emails, I personally wouldn't do it, until I see some decent traffic, because I had pop ups and they used to lower my conversions. At the end it is very important to build your email list, because that's something that google can't take from you, while you can get your blog dropped in rankings, as something similar happened to a lot of people, recently from their update.

My email budget is $1000

I am planning to use facebook ads, as those can be very targeted

I am expecting to pay $1 for a good quality signup.

I am going to use traffic from targeted pinterest and instagram social media.

Also general SEO with longtail.

Your expectations are realistic. But just a couple of things...

To optimise you really need to be bringing traffic /get sign ups in the thousands. Your budget is putting you at 1000 signups for $1000. Volume wise that puts you at a level you are unlikely to be able to finish optimising with.

Seo traffic is very slow, just remember that.

If I was seeing results, I could increase my budget. I was hoping for social media to help, but with the changes to instagram its a bit of an unknown at the moment.

Would you say that FB is the best traffic source?

Someone on BHW is selling adword vouchers. That might bring a cheaper ppc.

What do you mean by results signups or profit?

That got me thinking. I think the important thing for me is getting good quality leads that will buy. I want to make a pitch to interested people.

Does FB get good leads?

Does FB ads make the best profit as a ppc source of traffic?

If your interested i will show you how i get leads.

Even I'd like to know that part :)

Can i ask you the same questions then?

I have a question, for someone starting out and doesn't have a budget, can they rely on free traffic to get some optins and build his capital then move to paid traffic. I know free traffic is not much and will take time but it is a start.

Your problem is the time it will take you to build a list and optimise it if optins are just dripping in. If you have $0 email marketing is not a business you can get involved in.
