clickable watermark link on video at youtube

I dont remember where I read this or maybe I was dreaming about this --
is it possible to make clickable watermark video to be posted at youtube ?

There is a video format in which it's possible to embed clickable links, but it's not flash video.

Youtube allows you to do that, but you can only link to a youtube profile and other youtube videos.. Why not try the magic search feature?

yes, it's true ... they make you insert links in the video ("youtube annotations") but only linking to other youtube videos, and this links are not even available if you embed the video in a web page (and you can do these things only on videos uploaded on your account).

But there are many free online services that make you insert any kind of link in online video, like bubbleply.com or overlay.tv, but of course you can't have the exposure you could have on Youtube.

But you can embed these videos with all the affilate links you want in a web page...a single page site for example, and then promote this one in all the possible ways as a sales page: everybody in internet marketing is saying that web videos convert very well ...

Or embed these videos in social networking sites, etc.... And you can do this things with any video you find on you tube or other video sharing site,don't even need to download the videos, just use the URL and you can make the videos interactive.

You both are correct. When youtube first introduced video annotations you WERE able to link out to external sites. This was golden!!! but only lasted about 1 week. Well from what I could tell 1 week. Maybe it was longer...but I only was able to get it to work for the 7 days...then after than...youtube disabled my links...and when I tried to edit them...I could only link to other youtube videos :-(

I believe "sciatap72" posted 2 site that allows you to do this...I tried them and they worked for me.

If you embed your video inside flash, then you can put a link to any website. Take a look at the top animators on youtube they all do that.

You can insert an adwords add on your video which is clickable for free. I cannot remember how to do it, but the method is on here somewhere.

thats a nice way to ensure advertising as well as letting viewers know abt the ownership and it discourages copying of videos.
