Good afternoon,
I'm currently running Click-to-WhatsApp campaigns to WhatsApp Business, and in previous cases, I managed to redirect the messages to a regular WhatsApp account (green app).
Some of these exploits or bugs were patched by Facebook, but just yesterday (July 6, 2025), I saw someone running ads where the leads were clearly landing on a regular WhatsApp account.

Does anyone have any updated info or working methods to achieve this?
It would really help me to get a clearer picture.

On a related note, I’m also looking for bulletproof, greyhat or advanced methods to properly warm up a WhatsApp Business account, ideally making it last at least 5 months, since some of my accounts get flagged or disabled quickly — especially in sensitive or grey niches.

Thanks for reading and I hope someone can share ideas or advice.

That's only if you share the WhatsApp link on the creative not via FB business

At one time, there were gray areas to manipulate the BM or find flaws in it and get messages to reach the common WhatsApp directly, without modifying anything creatively. I'm sure that nowadays there are ways or errors to achieve this. Yesterday I saw an ad offering esoteric services to the common WhatsApp as a recipient.

For Click-to-WhatsApp campaigns, Meta officially supports only WhatsApp Business numbers linked to a verified Business Manager. Redirecting to the green app (personal WhatsApp) has largely been patched and may now trigger quick review or restriction.
As for warming up WhatsApp Business accounts in sensitive niches:
✅ Use real user interaction early on — not bots.
✅ Join and interact in relevant groups to build history.
✅ Avoid links or aggressive messaging in the first 1–2 weeks.
✅ Keep sender behavior consistent (reply times, message tone, etc.).
Stability often comes down to behavioral patterns and trust signals, not just the method of setup. Most “shortcuts” now risk quick bans, so slow and strategic ramp-up is the more sustainable play.

Is this a solution to the problem on ground

It’s a partial solution — using proxy methods or verified setups may delay detection, but it doesn’t fully solve the core issue, which is Meta’s tightening enforcement on redirection and account trust. Long-term stability still depends on clean setups, gradual warm-up, and behavior that mimics genuine usage.

You can create a lead generation campaign, with the destination being your whatsup account. Clicking on the ad will have the same effect.

I’ve also been researching this area.

Yes, proxy and verified just delay. To be sustainable, you have to clean your account, warm-up slowly and act like a real user. I followed that process and my account has not been swept in any storm
