Click Bank Affiliate Site Example !

I'm just a newbie in this forum, I've joined this and find that this is a very nice place for me to learn everything about SEO, not the fucking DP one. First of all, I just want to thank you all of this community. I've joined this forum under 1 month and I've learned very interesting methods in this forum.

I'm now just want to start a Site that promoting ClickBank Products, I have some troubles in finding some products to promote. And yes, I have learned how to promote a site, article marketing, Squidoo landing page, ..... But what I cant really understand is the way you can find a right products to promote (i know how keyword researching works ). I'll very glad if some of you experienced in this can lead me the right way.

I also a php programmer and I will give something back if you suggest a nice ideas here

You simply need to create an affiliate account at Clickbank (Free to create), then search the marketplace for products you are interested to promote.

You will get to see all the details including the commissions offered (They can range between 1%~75% per sale)! Once you chose the products you want to promote, you will need to use your nickname in all affiliate links (HopLinks) that you create.

Now get these links on you website and voila! Ur done

But what I need is find a good profitable products to promote How can I find a Hungry crowd for the product I choose ? Or I have to research in yahoo answers, google or something before I make my choice to the product and promote it ?

Well you can sort clickbank products by popularity. Those ranking high are selling quite well and also to look for a high gravity product...

I am also a newbie and this seems like the place to ask what can I do to capture the purchasers info. I really don't think the publisher deserves to cut the person who makes him money. Any help would be appreciated.

Look for products with high gravity, and find ones that you feel you could do a decent job of putting together a sales page for.

It's not rocket science, but be prepared for a lot of trial and error.

Conversion rates for good offers are maybe 1%, so factor in that you need to push 100 people to a vendor's sales page before you're going to get a sale.

Bad offers convert at like 1 in 200. And again, that's traffic to the vendor sales page, not to your site or whatever page you're using to presell the buyer.

If you get half of the people that visit your presell page to hit the vendor page, that means you double the numbers.

In other words, 200 visitors to your presell page, 50% convert, 100 visitors to vendor page, 1%, convert, 1 sale.

If that formula is profitable, go for it.

1% conversion is terrible and I'd be dropping that asap.

I expect at LEAST 3-5%. And, I measure from my traffic to sales, not what clicks through then buys. Yes it looks better on paper ignoring the traffic you got that didn't click through, but if you can't even get people to click on a link your pre-sales copy must be terrible. Especially if you're buying traffic - then you need to count from what hits your page, not the vendor's.

In general, I'd say anything <2% conversion is a bad product, 3-7% is reasonable and very easy, 8%+ is good.

You'll notice that most of the top sellers are record searching sites. It's not even a .pdf product to download. I know us mere mortals won't be able to program such a site. I wonder if they're just offering the same information and getting their data from the same places?

Anyone make any landing pages for such a service? How'z the click through rate? Is it even worth being an affiliate to something like this? If you sign up for a demo account, you can see the next 10 top clickbank sites.

gtford, what's the hop through rate on your landing page, or are you direct linking?

In my CB campaigns so far, I've never seen better than 1% conversion on the vendor sales page.

I'm certainly no expert, but I'm not a complete noob either, so if you're pulling those types of conversion rates for a CB product them my hat's off to you. In my experienc, it's definitely not typical.

I never direct link or frame/etc - ignoring the fact Google will slap you for it on manual review (I've been caught before) - it's terrible for your quality score/CPC/etc.

I tend to average around 50-70% click through from my landing page and catch around 5-20% on the AdSense/CPA/etc I tend to put around the page. I know it's considered "bad" to do that, but I always test it per site.

I check to see where people lose interest in my copy, and if I can't modify my copy to keep them reading (test, test, test), I'll put something related on it which they'll click on to get some money back on the click that wouldn't have converted anyway.

I feel I tend to lose most of my conversions from the end product site - usually too long winded and puts people off. I'm working on my own product at the moment to test that theory.

As far as my pre-sales copy/landing page goes, it's usually 1-3 A4 pages worth very carefully written (I'm an obsessive perfectionist - I can spend several hours writing one AdWords ad).

Is there one set method for getting traffic that has always worked for you and you would recommend?
