Hi, first off let me introduce myself. I'm a long time casual reader of the site and have always been amazed by how much extremely useful insights the community is willing to share. I'm a PPC marketeer, but SEO has always been somewhat of quirky hobby of mine. I think I understand the basics of content optimization and on-page optimization. Technical SEO isn't something I've dabbled with a lot. And that's what my question is about.
A few weeks ago we came in contact with a new client. They've had some server problems and much of their content was lost. Now they are left with more than 400 server errors (5xx). I have no idea where to start. From what I've read so far, I don't think this is a problem our agency can fix. What do we have to tell the developers of this client. Or which skills are we looking for in a external specialist who can help us out?
