Cleaning dead numbers from cold call list

I've bought some data for my cold call operation that's still decent when you can contact people but it's pretty old & a large percentage of the numbers are dead, meaning my team is wasting almost half their dial time.

Is there a service similar to email validation but for phone numbers or do I have to hire someone to do it manually?
