CleanFiles Shaving?

Hey guys, recently I switched my highest earning video over from Adwork Media to Cleanfiles as I read that they have easier to complete offers which still payout a decent amount. Everything has been going well, and I earned $55 or so through them these past 2 weeks (vs $30 a month through AWM) and was getting nearly 100% conversion rate everyday on this file. However... ever since I redeemed my first payout 3 days ago I noticed that the number of my leads and my conversion rate has dropped... A lot. So far today I have 16 clicks with one lead, when before I would have had atleast 5 downloads with that amount of clicks. Now if this happened over a long period of time then I wouldn't be curious. However when something this drastic changes within a day (literally) I start to wonder...

I'm almost positive that cleanfiles is shaving me. To be honest, it's not really a big deal because I already got my $60 from them and I'll just switch back the links. However I was curious as to what your guys's experience with Cleanfiles has been.

All network shaves no matter what they claim. Remember what is their profit model. They make a difference between advertiser and you. If they do not shaves, how are they going to make money? The model basically comprises of three way to make money. First is that they shave you. Second, they pay you only 40-50% of what advertiser are paying them. Third, they do both. Simple business model that do not require much hard work.

Check out some of the survey that cleanfiles have on hand. Are you able to approach these advertisers directly? Some of them accept direct application. And you will be surprise how much affiliate network are making from your effort. Affiliate network only value add to you when they are able to get exclusive offers. Example, CJ. They have offers that you cannot find on other network. Some pay per lead too. The only thing that I do not like about CJ is their rigid payment mode. Only by cheque.

Thanks for your insight. I guess all parties need to make money one way or another, and some just make more... Now just to find the network that shaves the least. Going to switch over to FileIce soon and trial that for a couple of weeks. Thanks again for your info sir

It's not called shaving according to me... Cleanfiles is a PPD and they take a commission on your earnings...

However Cleanfiles works the best for me when compared to any CPA network or other PPDs....

If you are using Cleanfiles, then you need to optimize and set a ' Restrict Payout range ' and see how your earnings sky rocket ..

Let me help you a bit,

For usa - > $1

For UK -> $2

For France -> $10

For Canada -> $0.90

For Australia -> $5

....

Now use Cleanfiles again and see the change in your earnings .. I bet that you'll prefer it over AWM !

here's the secret: all networks are shaving!

thats not cl foult, they are using cpa offers, which are shaving. Yesterday I had my first lead and it was shaved lol ( i know that it was lead, bcz the receiver wrote me exact text which was in txt file)

not to mention that they no pay in PP :|

Hi, I am the network owner, but unfortunately I am rarely active on BHW anymore.

I can personally guarantee that I will never shave you in the form of "you got a download but I hid it from you". As others have mentioned, the business model used is taking a small commission per download.

I do not have an explanation for your drop in earnings as I do not know your entire situation. All I can say is that internet earnings can be very dynamic and sometimes without an explanation at all.

Of course I understand that the bottom line is the profit for your work. I completely understand if you switch to another network because you earn more there. In the long run, I have the most faith in my own company, but many see differently than me.

They might be depending on your traffic quality, for sure. Also very often advertiser speaks to them directly of what to do so it's not about the company, it's more about the offer.
