clean backlink profile or a spammed and inflated backlink profile

clean backlink profile or a spammed and inflated backlink profile would you rather develop a website that was previously developed for a real company with real backlinks or simply a domain made to get inflated da and dr stats ? keeping in mind the inflated one got around 93 DA and DR while the real one is in the 40's with quality backlinks

and what would you price them both (ballpark)

Price for what?? For building the website. or?

These inflated ones are the real issues , they got surely banned in few months !

developing the website

recently i noticed plenty of spammed/inflated domains getting sold for huge amounts more than what i would sell my clean domains no idea why anyone would pay 1.5k for a domain with 99% of backlinks are google redirects

when you say "develop the website" I really believe you mean building a website, and if I'm wrong please correct me!

Regardless, building (developing) a website (if we're talking about Wordpress at least) is a matter of installing the theme and plugins, and customizing whatever needs customized, which I assume you're going to do yourself anyway if you care about your site. So it only comes down to installing a theme and plugins, and activating them, which should not cost even $50 (which I did pay some years ago when I've been too lazy to build my own sites).

Where you might pay more is if the site needs a lot of customization and integration with all sorts of big plugins like WooCommerce, or CRM plugins with newsletter management, membership plans, security plugins, and so on... All of those operations consume a lot of time and know-how so you'd pay upwards of few $100s probably (again, the real cost will depend on the amount of customization and integrations that your site might need, but simply installing WP and some basic plugins and activating these should cost $0 cause you can do it yourself)

DA and DR are third party metrics, Go with clean one.
