Claim vs Strike. Can I get banned.

Hi Guys,

I wanted to check what the difference between Copyright Claim and Strike?

Do they demonetize entire channel. Can I get banned?

For Eg. Let's say I upload TikTok Compilations (But I dont monetize video). Will I be claimed or striked for audio use? Even though I dont monetize?

Yes, if you keep abusing it, you'll get whacked.

I just got a 60 day ban on Facebook for copyright Strike, it was account-wide, couldn't even use messenger. It was fucked.

A claim means your video stays up, you dont earn money from it. A strike is your video getting taken down & no money from it.

Claims will not hurt your channel. Only strikes & community guidelines strikes.

Thanks. If my video gets claimed by content ID but no "copyright" (under fair use) does it automatically get demonetized or can it get monetized.

it get demonetized for you.. but ads will still run on the behalf of content id owner... and also don't get too much of these or you will lose YPP...
