***SPOILER FOR HARPERS ISLAND*** Lol, I just watched the season finale of Harpers Island and the killer was the least likely character from the show. It was actually a pretty good finale because of the twist. The reason I say this is... Please people this is not to point any fingers, this is just to open some minds. I mean no harm to anyone's business, this is just something that I have thought a lot about. What if CL planted people in our and other forums that posed as CL pros. People that become trusted members from the forum and "helped" everyone. They would be so trusted that everyone would reveal how they were getting ads to stick for more help. Its probably way to smart for the CL staff but I could see those sneaky bastards doing something like that. How many people here would drop everything and tell anything to get coaching from members on our forum that make thousands a month because of their extensive knowledge for CL posting. I am not pointing any fingers at anyone and I doubt anyone here is on CL payroll, but just like the episode of Harpers Island I just watched it could be anyone. Lets face it CL spam filters are good. Beatable but pretty dang good. I'm sure they have spies everywhere. Lesson learned? Do your own testing. Trust no one. When you find something that works for god sakes keep it to yourself. Just because they are good at posting doesn't mean that they have beat CL it could mean that they are being paid by CL. Wow I feel like one of those hard core conspiracy dudes. But it always seems like CL is ahead of the rest of the net for spam filtering. Like I said, they are beatable but not easily, especially for anything long term. Who better to spy then our so called CL experts! Just ask yourself this question. If you were running a site as successful as CL and your continued success relied on battling spam wouldn't you do anything to keep your business floating. We hate CL and their spam filters, but put yourself in they shoes. They probably hate bastards like us much worse than we hate them, why? Because we pretty much always come out victorious. Just some food for thought. With that being said, anyone care to share their best advice to get ads to stick and not ghost? LOL I'm just playin... Disagree or agree, let me know what you guys think!
