Chances are you will have to wait, but I once got a late payment in december of last year. I entered the wrong numbers for direct deposit. I contacted CJ, and they resent payment, but it was a much smaller one. They sent the rest of what they owed me in the next month.
Raise hell with CJ accounting to cut you a replacement check immediately and send via fedex at your expense. This happened to me before and I got my new check in 2 days.
You have to tell them the reason you need the funds just like you said above. If you don't get the answer you want, ask for a supervisor and keep going up the chain until you get what you want.
