I have spent the last 3 months working on a piece of php code that can:
1. Use a list of keywords to build a page for every city in the U.S.
2. Pull in relevant Wiki content for the keyphrase being targeted on the page
3. Pull in RSS stories for the city being targeted on the page
4. Pull in an image related to the city being targeted on the page
5. Display the weather for the city being targeted on the page
6. Disqus integration
...and several other essential SEO items.
I am adding...
1. Automated Schema markup on each page.
2. Automated content creation and spinning
I have tested it with what was been programmed so far with a 6 million page website. I launched it in the middle of the most recent Google update. So far, I have 600K+ pages indexed but with most of them being in the omitted results.
I wanted to see what the results would be with has been programmed so far. We weren't counting on Google being in the middle of an update.
Anyway, I am telling you all of this because we would like to work with a select few experts on BlackHatWorld to fine tune this script. My team will program the suggestions you come up with. I have an SEO agency and believe we have most of the pieces. However, myself and my team DO NOT know everything. In my desire to make this script as powerful as it can be, I want to hear from other experts in this space. I recognize that if we collaborate, this script could be even more amazing and quickly.
Anyone that helps me with it, will have access to it. I believe that when completed, it will be a great traffic generator. I know there are several wordpress plugins that do something similar. However, I am not a fan of Wordpress. I want to build sites with millions of pages that will be stable and are less likely to be hacked.
This script will be able to be wrapped around any website, which is my goal.
What I am looking for from you, if you want to participate:
1. Look at what we have done so far and tell me what needs to be changed.
2. Give us any other tips and tricks that you are aware of that could improve the script. I am looking for SEO tips and tricks, not programming tips. My team of programmers can already do just about anything. However, if you want to actually work on a part of the programming, we can talk about that too.
3. Review a list of all of the suggestions given by people on this board and let us know if you agree.
In exchange, my team will do the programming and once finished, we will give you access to the script.
At this time, we do not have plans to make this script available to the public for sale. We just want to use it with our internal projects and for client websites. We have most of it done already but want to work with some of you out there that probably have knowledge that we don't have. Our ego is not involved. We just want to create the best possible tool.
