Just wanted to get everyones opinions i have all the major cities of australia domain names (almost) on .me
i have

adelaide2.me
brisbane2.me
darwin2.me
goldcoast2.me
perth2.me
sydney2.me
melbourne2.me

what do you think they would be worth for that lot???

am curious to know what you all think .

its either make some quick bucks or go make a craigslist style site for oz with each domain and link them all together

your thoughts appreciated

i think they are worth less than registration costs. If you are doing stuff for OZ get @ .com.au and use subdomains for each city. Its incredibly easy to rank .com.au for local searches.

If you have ever been to Canberra you would understand why he forgot to register it

If they didn't have the "2" they would be a good catch, but unfortunately roadie said less than reg costs.

The .me isn't doing anywhere near as good as it was hyped up to be, and really looks to be going the way of the .cc and .ws

I got a ton of excellent single dictionary .me domains, and even having trouble getting a decent offer for them.

lucky I got LID.me instead, got it in the first hour of opening, was hesitating to get hid.me and missed it.

i tried to get fuck .me but alas that ws already gone lol
sadthing was i got insure.me through godaddy (on telephone aftermaing sure irt was still available and the bastards sentme a reciept and all then next day sad sorry not yours we made amistake-- then 2 weeks latert he fucking thing sold for 68000 us
im still debating whether i shuld try suiing them.

I think the only way your going to get anything for these domains is to develop them to some degree. Get some traffic (quality or not it doesn't matter) just something to beef up the logs, build some backlinks and then you'll have something a little more valuable to sell.

yeah they really arent worth anything over reg fee. You will have to develop them to make a profit. Goodluck.
