Email signup seems cleaner than Google login here. If it shows Pro trial after account creation, thats probably the promo being attached already... just check billing page and remove any card if it asks. 12 months should show in plan details, not as a seperate activation code.

Google login loop is usually just cookies/adblock messing with the oauth redirect, try incognito or plain email signup and it goes through fine.

@Adsmith2026 pretty much covered it, the "trial" wording is just how they label it on their end. What matters is what the plan section says, if it shows the end date roughly 12 months out you got it. If it shows 7 or 14 days then the source param didnt stick and you'd have to redo the signup with a fresh email.

Only thing i'd add... no card asked at signup means no surprise charge later, but still set a reminder before the year ends coz these things love to auto convert at full price. 60/yr is not nothing.

Worked for me with normal email signup, google was looping same way. After login check the URL still has source=f6s before creating acc, if it drops that then promo may not attach. Mine shows pro trial but expiry is next year, so yeah looks like 12 months just labelled weird.

For anyone stuck on the Google loop, use email signup and dont login first from homepage. Open the f6s link in incognito, register there, then check plan page. If it says Pro trial but expiry is 2026 then its fine, their wording is just messy. Also no need to add card, I skipped that part and pro features still unlocked.

thanks man I had got stuck on the google loop, but the email way is much cleaner
