So.. here I was minding my own business when I noticed that my shnizzle was getting all laggy which is weird cause I have a decent amount of memory installed on this PC (8GB) - 64bit.... and whut do u know? Here is what I have running as far as browsers:

Firefox - 25 Tabs (no videos loaded)
Chrome - 7 Tabs (no videos loaded)

After a quick glance I noticed:

Firefox is using > 421,552K with 1 window open and 1 instance
Chrome is using > 1,413,308K with 1 window open and 13 instances

So yeah.... Chrome can kiss my glorious baby-soft ass!

Im experiencing the same. Chrome might be a memory hog but it seems to load sites much faster.

What is your thoughts on Opera?
I find it to run very nicely, better than FF.
    It is showing 52,324k
and FF is 107,364k in Task manager

I've used both FF and Chrome for ever, and find I like Chrome much better than FF. For starters, it's a hell of a lot faster, plus it is more stable when it comes to flash animations (interactive games, etc.) and youtube videos. Because it is thread based, you will get a process showing for each thread, be it flash, a tab, or what not. What windows fails to show is that most of the memory used is shared.

FWIW, the screenshot is from a 32-bit windows install, not 64-bit. If you want to use more than 3.5GB (you say you have 8GB), then you NEED a 64-bit OS.
