hi,

A few months ago, I purchased a Chrome extension install service to grow my extension user base.

At first everything looked good. The install count increased as expected and the numbers were moving in the right direction. However, after some time I noticed that the install count started slowly decreasing.

The drop wasn't immediate, but over the following weeks I lost a noticeable number of installs.

I'm trying to understand what might be causing this.

Are users simply uninstalling the extension over time?

Does install quality play a big role in retention?

Is it normal to lose a percentage of installs after a campaign ends?

I wouldd love to hear from other extension owners who have experienced something similar and what they did to improve long-term retention.

Thanks!

Its always been the case of most of the SMM. So if you purchased it from some panel then surely they will drop as they don't have control over the delivery.

Generally, for keep the numbers steady in the chrome web store you need to open the profile atleast once in three days.

When you purchase traffic you get a quick boost but many of those people may not be interested in the long term.

that usually happen when installs come from a datacenter proxies
