What aspects do you consider while choosing an exchange to purchase or trade cryptocurrency?

How long it's been on the market.
For example, i consider Binance and Coinbase very safe. But if you want to be 99% safe, never store all your crypto on one exchange...

Store your crypto on a hardware wallet. Never trade with 100% of your crypto holdings.

Mainly: security, fees, liquidity, supported coins, KYC policies, UI, and withdrawal reliability.

Just use a trustable wallet. Personally I use Trustwallet.

For me the users amount globally meaning is trusted. Dont ever use small exchange.

for exchane i ll prefer binance but you have issue with kyc and you dont want to do kyc then go with trust wallet

Exchange choice is undoubtedly heavily influenced by KYC regulations. When making a decision, do you additionally take into account elements like fees, liquidity, or customer support?

you want to do all trading legally then go with binance. they have good support and less fees. but if you want go with without kyc and dont want your goverment to find out about transaction then you have two option.
store your crypto in decentralize wallet like trust wallet. its good choice.
make trading on local coin swap or you can choose telegram group for trading.
(There are so many scammers on telegram. so first join reputed group who has so much history. after that follow all the rules from that group and always use middleman or group bot to make transaction. telegram group have less fees to.)
i personally use both option localcoinswap and telegram too.

Liquidity support and fees are all very important. Depending on one's location, security and adhering to local laws are also crucial factors
