Hi guys
I have a hairdresser client who wants to rank locally for hairdresser + town in the uk.
The problem I am having is chosing the correct url for his place page.
Client is a franchisee which makes things tricky. I could use the main url for the franchise own which
a couple of franchisees have already done.
Or he has a sub domain page on the franchise site but the post code is missing on that page. Being a
franchise it could take ages just to make this small change and the client wants results within a month.....which I can do.
The last option is to use the branch locator page on the main franchise site as this has the full and correst postal address for him.
However as it has the other branch addresses on this page would this be a bad url to use?
At the moment google has put an unverified place page in for him but for some reason they have put the word "town centre" and the street
name which is incorrect. There are other unverified place pages for other branches but the branhces that have verified place pages have just used
the main franchise url. Is that ok or will the listing eventually get deleted/merged?
I know people like dominos just use the main url and are fine. I wonder but having a different local phone number on the listing if this is enough
to satisfy google?
I would appreciate it thanks if you guys had any suggestions as to which way is best as I don't want to spend ages messing around trying to speak to the right person to get the branch page edited and then involved a busy owner having to talk to HQ about a web page alteration. It might make
a bad first impression on my work?
