- They have a shit ton of companies building electric vehicles. Many people over there are driving electric cars because they are getting subsidized by the government.I'm not sure how they are taking it seriously when they are rapidly increasing in carbon emissions? China produces around 5x more than india, and 2x more than the USA. The USA are actually reducing their emissions for the last few years, but China is still rapidly growing.
China have even announced they will still keep growing until around 2030? That's 9 years of more and more carbon emissions before they even start to reduce it?
- There are other restrictions like people are not allowed to drive their car one day per week (everyone has to choose a day).
- They are building a huge infrastructure of high-speed trains for long-distance, so people don't take the airplane...and the trains are actually quite cheap. Before I took one of those trains from Nanjing to Beijing.
I am not a fan of China, don't get me wrong, but they definitely do something.
I am also not sure why the BBC is writing about emissions but completely ignores the fact of this:

I mean not even mentioning it in a single sentence...so I can't really take this article seriously.
And lets not be idiots, as long as there are nuclear weapons and other kinda weapons, we don't even need to start talking about greenhouse emissions. There is nothing more harmful than weapons, especially nuclear weapons.
But these people who are writing such articles, seem to ignore the fact? Or whats going on?
