    Hi everyone,

I'm from Canada but have lived in Guangzhou, China for 3+ years (2008-2011). I have a clothing store, wholesale locally, and sell a bit online. I deal mainly with replica brand items like jeans, T-shirts, jackets, jerseys, purses, jewellery etc. One of my main problems(and you've probably noticed this too if you have dealt with replicas) is that most replica makers lack attention to detail in terms of replicating items perfectly(they lack quality, fitment, have spelling errors or made up designs). You can simply google "fake X brand jeans" and find details on how to identify fakes nowadays.

So about 2 years ago I explored manufacturing my own replica goods and developed many wholesale and manufacturing contacts in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Shuntong. I've made my own True Religion jeans, designer brand T-shirts (LV, Boss, Gucci, etc), NHL jerseys, Otterbox iPhone4 cases, and various tags and bags for my stores.

The problem I've discovered now is that the minimum I have to make is always too much. Having to make 100+ per style is way too much for me to sell at my store. I always end up having to blow them out or sell them wholesale at little profit after a few months.

So here's what I'm proposing. What if we as a community decide on something to replicate together? That way we can split the quantity. I can buy the original and send it to my contacts and have them replicate it to the best of their ability. We would get a finished product that isn't easily detectable as a fake. We would be the only ones with supply to the product. We can also make something that hasn't been replicated before. It could be anything from brand name clothing to accessories, jewellery, phone accessories etc. Electronics will probably be too hard as they have to program them with the correct softwares somehow.

    Any thoughts on this?
