Yes. I learned patience, what my limits are, what type of copy I'm good at writing, how to take charge and what sort of clients I get on well with. I also learned I don't have to take shit from people just bc they're paying - no matter what they're paying.
That's just a few things. One of the most important things I learned is to be consistant. Progress is progress, no matter how tiny. This year I finished my second novel. Before this I had started 8 novels, and never finished any of them.
