I've been running Khubetsoana Knight Riders for a year and at this moment I am struggling to host another tournament and even paying rent. I tried advising on Facebook paid for page to be sponsored. I am thinking of closing a club at the end of the year. Since I am a qualified teacher I teach kids English language and Geography during weekdays but still I have less than 6 students surprisingly we attend all local tournaments and my students have won chess boards and medals.

Don’t give up it seems like a great idea what you are doing. Maybe you should go and speak to some of the other club owners and see what they are doing that works, then replicate that.

I wish it was that easy in My country Lesotho is a third world country. They don't invest in sports no tennis national team.

There are about 8 chess clubs in Lesotho and non of them have hired a building or invested a lot in chess accept the NUL. National University of Lesotho its hard to interact with them even my ex coach asked how I keep up with paying rent because as for him he does pay rent he is in chess federation
