I stumbled upon this nice forum a few days ago and didn't get much sleep since then because there is really a lot of great information to be found here. In 2009 I participated in Yaro Staraks Blog Mastermind program but that didn't really work for me, so I "forgot" about my mission to make some good money with good online content and IM and tried being a musician instead. Worked out alright allowing me to live a student's life from my live gigs, royalties and sh*t but I needed more than just music all the time for my mind so I applied for Performance Art/Fluxus studies a few times but didn't get in (no artsy family connections no chance - welcome to Austria
).
I'm almost 30, my hobby is my job and my songs become more and more mainstream because after all I gotta make a living. After a few panic attacks and depression right before finishing my second LP I went to therapy and noticed the fact that when I talk about musical theory, musical production or other things which can get complicated, people still tend to get it. So maybe I should get writing about that... Making some websites and some money to shift the pressure a little away from my songwriting and music production... Playing around with tools like Market Samurai is a blast, finding a fine keyword could be better than sex (not that I could judge keywords very well yet obviously haha).
Anyway, great to be here! Already saw a lot of community sense like in the "old days" of the internet, cool to find a place like this!
