When signing up for a few affiliate programs they asked me the name I would like to appear on the check. If I were to put "cash" as my name would the check actually be made out to cash? I would like to avoid having things tied to my name for privacy reasons.

I'm pretty new to affiliate marketing so sorry for the n00b question lol.

Didn't they ask you for a SSN or EIN when signing up? FOr their books to be straight, they have to 1099 you. I am assuming you are from the US.

and how are you going to cash/deposit a check made out to "Cash" ??

lol

im sure some paki gas station that cashes checks might do it for you tho.

Anyone can cash a check that is made out to "cash." You never did that with a personal check? I didn't know if payroll type checks were the same.

I always put my real name there, otherwise the bank wont cash in
