hey all.
what if i want to check my search engine position. (postition for spacific keyword)

there are several tools when i Google them. but most of them are not accurate. most of them are searching just for some time. there are restrictions n captcha errors in many tools.
What is ure fav tool.

i remember there was a Google command through which my friends used to check. if anybody knows exact thing please write down.

I Also Use Traffic Travis As Well :) It's a pretty cool tool ... at least it's working fine, not a lot of bugs .... I hate when I have to use seNuke .... (for SEO of course)

Yeah Traffic Travis is good. I use it for checking my rankings. You can find the pro version here

I use rank tracker add on for firefox to search for my rankings in different search engines.. It is a free addon and display quite correct result...

If you want more from your research then you can use market samurai or IBP or other paid tools...

I use rank checker FF plugin by seobook.com. It works well generally though the rankings can be off by a few when I check myself. (likely different data center results) Luckily they usually say I'm a few spots lower so it's always a nice surprise. :)

Market samurai is the best tool that I have come across for this. You can track a lot of keywords with different URL's all in one place. It also gives you a graph to track your rank change. It is a pretty cool tool.

Here's a nice set of tools that I use often as well. Download the free seo power suite, and use the rank tracker.

You can download your list of KW's from google, say 100, plug them in and see where you stand for those KW's or just put in any random KW's you want or list etc.

Hope it helps

I'll give another vote for Market Samurai. Professionally I use Webposition Gold, but for more personal use I use Market Samurai and honestly, it's faster, more accurate and better.

The best one for me has been www.iwebtool.com

it checks all the data centers for your ranking..

also has a lot of other tools that you can use for free

Rank Checker on Firefox is pretty accurate.

One of the webdesigners I work with is actually close to launching a tool that gathers search engine positions and in the tests so far its been accurate every time - once it's complete i'll let you know.
