Checking my compeitors backlinks

I have a competitors website i want to check their backlinks and links they have coming in to do a competitive analysis any product or tool recommendations?

There are so many tools and bots by which you can do that easily.
I used to use spyglass to do the things like this.
It really works good. You can have a try at this.
This is really a good practice to keep eye on the competitors so that you can have a good idea about there activity.
 
I subscribe for a free trial of opensiteexplorer using a $1 vcc and i analyze their website. The tool can sort the backlinks which are do-follow and no-follow, so i go first with do-follow , check PR and go from higher ones to lower ones, then i switch to no-follow.
 
There are many tool who's display backlinks, some of tool are display inner page backlinks like backlinkwatch that's not useful, I will suggest you ahrefs and analyzebacklinks both are good and best tool but I am very satisfy with analyzebacklinks that's good and free tool. Some are basic search just check in Google means you can search backlinks in Google - link:h**p://websitename.com that's display results in backlinks form. if any mistake you are doing in Google checking backlink, you should be search SEO Quake tool and install this add-nos in FF then reset browser then ON this tool and go to page info link then click display backlinks name like Google, yahoo, Bing that's also display backlink results.

opensite explorer is also a good option but you can also use coignitiveseo, resources permitting that is
 
I think Majestic has the most up to date index, ahrefs seems to be dated and has a lot more "noise". Opensite explorer is just too damn expensive.
 
Open site explorer, Market Samurai, Spy Glass, ahrefs. There is also a great one by one of the members here. Called ibacklinkpro. Do a search.
