What tools do you use to check if your article is unique? Since I outsource my article writing I wan to make sure I am not getting duplicate content any good suggestions?

Copyscape is the best tool and if you want to do it manually you can copy a few of the content text or sentence and paste into Google search bar. If you see a full sentences BOLD then it's no unique.

As far as I know that thebestspinner link only compares two articles, but how can you make use of that if you are handed an article from your outsourcer? Would like to know a free tool that gave youa number on how unique it actually is..

Copyscape is probably the best way to go. We run many of our articles that we get from VAs through here.

Copyscape Premium is really not that expensive to be wasting time looking for something else...

I agree, Copyscape premium If you have Easy WP SEO it is actually imbedded into all your pages to so it is very easy to make sure everything you are doing on your website is called "unique content" You can also put your API in the best spinner. Nothing compares...

http://www.plagium.com/ is also used by many people as well. I've heard that some believe it's better than Copyscape.

Copyscape is the best option. I used some others but they failed to show results in some cases, but copyscape did show results. You could also use Google: copy-paste few lines with "" if you get results with bold letter then it is DUPLICATE.

Copyscape is best one.

You can also check by Google just copy few line of article and paste in search Box , if you getting same results means article not unique.
