Is anyone aware of any plugins, tools, or methods that allow you to scan your wordpress site for outbound Amazon links that are going to products that are no longer available?

I found this old plugin (no longer available) which has the functionality I'm looking for: https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-amazon-link/

I also found that GeniusLink has a subscription service with an Amazon dashboard that can give you these details, but I'm not interested in another subscription service.

I also thought about writing a web scraper for my sites and then parsing output of all amazon links. However, this seems like such a common problem that I assume anyone with a long-standing Amazon affiliate site has already come up with a solution.

Thanks!

You should take a second look at geni.us, they are great,

I am also wondering is there such a plugin ?

Thanks for the suggestion. I was not really looking for a service that actively monitors links, but is there something else I'm missing why I might want to?

If the product is deleted from amazon, genius will automatically detect and redirect the user to a similar or matching product. Plus it's a handy way to get extra analytics. They are free until you get 10k clicks a month i think it is.
