Hi there does anyone know of any tools that can be used to check which countries a competitor is getting their traffic from? Ahrefs and Semrush only show the top 5, and I'd like a list of all of the countries.

similarweb if enough traffic is the best.

I use similarweb.com and like their accuracy. only downside is smaller sites may not be indexed.
trends.google.com also has this feature. set the filter to "worldwide". i don't believe theirs too much. search "reddit.com". Iceland #1. usa is #3. no clue how they calculate it there.

Does similar traffic show search traffic or only direct? I'm looking for search traffic results

ahrefs and semrush show the best of the results, including all the countries where they do have enough data of the website, not only the top 5,
if they only show 5, it most likely means that the website is getting all of the traffic from these 5 and the rest is just too low to be trackable

go with similarweb.
also you can check with many forums like reddit etc

I think it's enough to see top five countries traffic. Because every tool show
the same result almost.
But I suggest please go to similarweb.

Wow I didn’t know about this site but I got to say I’m impressed. Their data is very accurate! How are they pulling or coming up with the data?

no idea dude, it's somewhat accurate as the only accurate datas are in their google analytics. They don't filter bot traffic all the time and some sites rent their banner space by pumping traffic number for advertiser so got to be careful but it's still the best site for traffic sources that you will find on the market.

I was using a combination of buysellads + Google AdWords + ahrefs to get traffic estimates but this site seems to be the most accurate, at least since buysellads changed and ahrefs is not that accurate (sometimes it’s close, sometimes it’s not)
