Checking a NULLED Plugin..

I don`t know if this is the right subforum but I guess mod can always relocate this.

Can anyone help me with how to check if a nulled plugin is safe for usage?

I’m not sure whether Virustotal works for plugins, but it’s helped with themes, maybe it’ll work.

I ren it through virus total and it came out clean. But, i upload it the compressed file, I don`t know if this is the way to run a plugin through Virus Total or if you have to uncompress it and upload each file separately.

Not worth the risk, in my opinion. Either buy it or join a service such as Festinger's.

Maybe test in a VM if VirusTotal claims its ok. Get some scanners (WordFence, etc.) to run along side and see if anything is detected. If after testing the plugin and does what you need it to do, especially when you go to production, worth considering to buy it.
